Profile of Terri Fitzpatrick

Terri Fitzpatrick studied with the Irish School of Shiatsu for three years. After graduating with a diploma in June 2006, she is now a registered member of the Shiatsu Society of Ireland (R.P.S.S.I).

Terri's interest in Shiatsu came about whilst working for in Toronto, Canada, in 2002. She was suffering with a lower back problem and was recommended to try Shiatsu. Not only did the Shiatsu treatment work in successfully treating the back pain symptoms, it also linked the problem to something that was going on in her life at the time. This sparked an interest to find out more about the practice of Shiatsu and to study it to become a practitioner.

Terri gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in July 2007. During her pregnancy, Terri had received Shiatsu and found it to be very beneficial. Her partner used very specific Shiatsu points during labour, and helped enormously, this led Terri to study further the in-depth benefits and application of Shiatsu during pregnancy and labour.
